"This week has been pretty swell"

This week has been pretty swell. We have had to cut most of our investigators, but we met a man named João Paulo that is really great. We will visit him in about an hour from now. My companion will be going home in one week so I'm doing my best to keep his thoughts on the work and not on home. I watched conference in Portuguese, and it was a really cool experience as I felt impressions on how I can work more effectively on bringing souls to Christ. I love the scriptures. They really contain the gospel of Christ, and in the scriptures we will find the happiness that each one of us is looking for.

To Adam: I hope you paid more attention to conference than I did when I was your age because the Lord God reveals His secrets through the prophets.

To Stephanie: That's a bummer that the other team was playing dirty.  There is no honor in winning if you get to there by dishonorable means. You can take that quote to the bank.

To Dad: I also received revelation during conference. I love you too, and I'm glad that you are keeping the ice cream tradition alive.

To Mom: Conference was superb! I enjoyed basking in the spirit that was present during conference and am already bettering my life with the things I learned.
