For those who were confused by last week's reference to "traps," traps is short for trapezius muscle. According to Wikepedia: "In human anatomy, the trapezius is a large superficial muscle that extends longitudinally from the occipital bone to the lower thoracic vertebrae and laterally to the spine of the scapula (shoulder blade). Its functions are to move the scapulae and support the arm." Michael worked very hard lifting weights and had well developed trapezium. In other words, he had a thick neck:-)
We have some new rules for the mission. We can't live in groups of 4 missionaries anymore, so I have to move to the ghetto. We can't carry our backpacks on our back, and we can't run in the morning. On the bright side I have a good excuse for being fat when I return, and I need all the blessings I can get from being obedient.
Other than that, we had several people decide that they didn't want to have lessons anymore, and none of the people that were at church last week came back to church. I did 31 contacts yesterday, so hopefully some of them want salvation. It's been a pretty good week, we did lots of service projects, and its been really sunny. Also I gave a talk in sacrament meeting.
To Mom: Just so you guys know when I show people the picture of you guys, they ask which ones are my parents.
To Grandma, who was visiting Cali: I do miss American hamburgers, and the ice cream here has nothing on the rich creamy goodness experienced by the lucky inhabitants of the United States.
